From pallet to pallet
it’s precisely perfect!
De-boxing, De-bagging, Detecting
From careful de-boxing, de-bagging and onto cheese production then cutting, slicing and grating (all under the watchful ‘Eagle Eye’ inspection system), ALPMA machines have helped many customers deliver their product reliably, accurately and quickly. And with minimal human intervention required, the result is a highly cost-effective cheese production solution. Plus, machine learning allows for ALPMA’s already well-engineered production facilities to fine-tune themselves on-the-go, 24 hours a day and for continuous cheese production of up to 1,000,000 litres/day.

De-boxing
The carton box feeds onto a conveyor belt. One of the long sides and both the front and back ends are sliced open with three driven circular knives. The lid is opened and the carton including the inside sleeve are pulled off by means of vacuum suckers. The cheese and the empty carton box are transferred away from the machine on conveyor belts.

De-bagging
Placement of the wrapped blocks on the in-feed belt and automatic transfer within the machine. The film is cut on both long sides and at the back side by means of a circular blade and pulled off the cheese block with a gripping device. The removed film is discharged into an empty bag compactor (option).

Detecting
The cheese blocks are automatically transported into the machine. In the first station the surfaces are scanned from 5 sides. In the second station the block is tilted to scan the bottom. The cheese then leaves the machine via the discharge conveyor.
